한국남동발전(주)
한국남동발전은 전력산업 구조개편 계획에 의하여 2001년 4월 2일 한국전력공사에서 발전부문이 분리되어 출범한 發電 회사로서 우리나라 전체 발전설비 약76,130MW중 11%를 점유하는 837만5kW의 설비를 가동하고 있습니다. 현재 경남 고성의 삼천포화력을 비롯하여 경기도 성남은 분당복합화력, 강원도 강릉의 영동화력, 전남 여수의 여수화력 및 인천 옹진에 국내최초의 80만kW급 대용량 영흥화력 등 5개 발전소를 보유하고 있습니다. 또한 인천 영흥화력 부지에 80만kW급 영흥5,6호기를 건설 중에 있습니다.

Welcome to the Application of Korea South East Power Co., Ltd., hereinafter called as KOSEP. KOSEP was established on April 2nd, 2001 as an autonomous power company after having been separated from KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) by the government’s structural reorganization of the power industry. KOSEP, as of 2008, is operating and maintaining power generation facilities with a total capacity of 8,375,244kW, equivalent to 11% of the nation’s 76.1 million kW facilities’ capacity.
